It was 40 years in the making but on Thursday night a Division II record was set in Philadelphia. Herb Magee head coach of Philadelphia University’s basketball team became the winningest coach in Division II history with his 829th career win passing Winston-Salem St.’s Clarence “Big House” Gaines. Magee is now ranked sixth among all NCAA men’s coaches. The amazing thing is that all of his wins came at Philadelphia University. Congratulations.
