How can the official who said Clowney’s helmet to helmet hit on Carson Wentz was incidental. This hit was the reason the NFL put the helmet to helmet rule was put in place. Even if you want to accept the moron official’s explanation it is still a late, and unecessary hit at the very least. Roger Goodell claims to want to defend the shield, then he should take a long hard look at the officiating, their judgment leaves a lot to be desired. It’s scary to think that maybe the fans understand the rule better than the officials. Don’t take my word for it take a look below, and tell me there is nothing wrong with that hit. If according to the official Wentz gave himself up then this should have been called a late hit. Roger Goodell your a hypacrite
