
The Phillies and up taking two out of three from the Mets with a 8-2 win on Wednesday afternoon. The Phillies started off with a bang scoring four runs in the first inning on a Rhys Hoskins (1) solo home run, and an Alec Bohm (1) three run homer. The Mets got on the board on a Pete Alonso RBI single in the third. J.T. Realmuto (1) made it 7-1 Phillies with a three run homer in the fifth. The Phillies went up 8-1 in the sixth on a Bryce Harper RBI groundout. The Mets second run came on a Archie Bradley wild pitch in the seventh. The Phillies improve to 5-1, and the Mets drop to 1-2.
