Ex-NHLer Akim Aliu lands book deal on his battles with racism in hockey

Titled “Akim Aliu Dreamer: Growing Up Black in the World of Hockey,” the former NHLer’s graphic novel is due out in February, and is being co-released by Scholastic and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s publishing company.
